  1. Ha ha! Thanks, Marty, I am flattered by your attentions.

I think you raise some good semi-serious questions about this semi-serious document. Can an antidigital movement propagate digitally, or is that just an untenable contradiction between means and end? Can such a movement have any direction unless it commits itself to particular claims and goals?

By the way, can the author of its manifesto avoid being its leader? I hope so, which is why I did not sign my name to this document although I wouldn't deny that I wrote it, and put it on its own website so that it wouldn't "belong" to me.

I'll mention here that anyone who wants to post other translations of the manifesto on the T.I. site, or other versions of it, is welcome to do so -- send them to me and I can upload them. I'm also happy to upload this deconstruction if you like, Marty, or provide a link to it. Keep people thinking (and typing), that's what I say.

    1. Richard: Glad it gave you some amusement! You have my permission to put it on the T.I. site in toto or put a link to it here, whatever you want to do!

  2. And I thought Richard was the only philosophical thinker in the typosphere!

    1. I'm sure there are other "philosophical" thinkers who are tlogging! It's just that he and I are the only two I know of with the typical academic "license," i.e., a doctoral degree in philosophy.

  3. You know, the holes you picked in the manifesto are the same ones I found issue with - I was just too polite to write-up a critique :-) The important (?) thing, though, is that the original, as well as your deconstruction, provide diverting and entertaining sources of reflection.
