  1. Absolutely fantastic, Marty! That penny has far more worth now than it ever did, I would say. You seem to be the best guy around for rigging up inventive changes to typewriters.

    I mean, an Anglicized Groma Kolibri?
    A Remette with a bell?
    Now this?

    1. I also increased the utility of the UDQT platen knobs, since the bottle cap is bigger and easier to grab than the originals. I might just glue a bottle cap on the remaining platen knob to make them match ... easiter than painting my invention! More colorful, too.

    1. If you want, I'll send you the white one that was slightly too big for my machine. You can slip it on the platen axle and see if it will work on yours. It's the right color, too.
